I just read an article about the Tesla Roadster in Fortune magazine. A few weeks ago, I was reading how Telsa decided to switch to a one-speed tranny instead of the original two speeder. I figured it wasn't because they perfected the one speeder but they couldn't get the two speeder to work. I don't want to sound smug but it's good to be right. I guess its my experience with businessman trying to b.s. me... or me tying to b.s. them.

He wants change... with a good beat.

The video link below shows Senator Barack Obama dancing on the Ellen Degeneres show. I don't know if this makes me want to vote for him less or more. Either case, he's a pretty good dancer.

Chevy Volt and Beat Update

It looks like GM wants to win its foot race with Toyota to be "first in market" with a affordable plug-in lithium battery EV called the Volt. The schedule for the sales of the Volt is still late in 2010, but I estimate the actual launch date to be much sooner, as in mid-to-late 2009.

Another Chevy concept car, The Beat, looks like it's a go for that model also. It suppose to get 40 mpg and cost a little north of 10 grand. Hey, maybe I'll get that instead of the Solstice.
